Overview
We offer limited fee-for-service work. Please keep in mind that this is not a core function of our facilities - our standard operation model is to train you on the instruments for you to do your own work using our facilities. Our staff therefore do have normal responsibilities and fee-for-service work may need to be set aside if we are bandwidth limited with our central responsibilities (varies over time). If you have hard deadlines and regularly need something, consider getting trained to be able to do the work yourself. Alternatively, you may consider Fab Consultants who may be able to take on more complex processing work.

Policies
- We cannot sign NDAs.
- Work will be best effort. We cannot promise a "product" for a set fee.
- Costs will include tool rates used and staff time spent. If a problem with the process occurs, tool and staff time spent cannot be refunded. See Rates to estimate costs.
- Schedule will depend on tool and staff availability. Our staff will not be able to work outside normal working hours. Strict deadlines may not be met. We strongly encourage that you reach out well ahead of any deadlines. It is very common for staff and tool schedules to be booked over a week out.
- We may not have time to provide a full report like a PPT slides for the work done, but things such as a few optical microscope images can be done.
